Service fees are relatively uncommon, but growing quickly

Other times it's a fee the restaurant says it uses to cover employees' health care. Occasionally, a service fee is a mandatory minimum gratuity that gets split by all restaurant employees. Early McDonald's menu shows incredibly cheap prices.

McDelivery is a McDonald's service that delivers food to the customer's door.

To cancel your order, you'll need to do this on the Uber Eats, DoorDash, or Grubhub app or website where you placed the order. The app or website you placed your order on will have instructions for the cancellation process.

The most common complaint by far is wait time. Having worked at 3 McDonalds, I can tell you that customers get angry during rush hours (8–10, 11:30–1:30,4–6). Other complaints may be due to inaccurate food orders or the lobby being dirty.

No, it's not illegal to sit at McDonalds without buying anything, but it IS illegal to remain on their property after being asked to leave because you didn't buy anything. It's called criminal trespass and is generally a misdemeanor.

Ongoing Fees: Royalty and Marketing

Royalty Fee: McDonald's charges a service fee of 4% of gross sales. This fee covers ongoing support and access to McDonald's operational systems and training. Marketing Fee: Franchisees are also required to contribute at least 4% of their gross sales to advertising and promotion.

To determine which McDonald's locations in your area are participating in McDelivery®, simply download the Uber Eats App, DoorDash App, or the Grubhub App, input your delivery address, and you will be able to order from participating McDonald's restaurants in your area.

As a result, our restaurants waste less than 1% of edible food stock. Unfortunately we can't send cooked food to be eaten elsewhere as this would breach our food safety policies, but we do send all leftover food for composting, rendering or anaerobic digestion.

It may be because McDelivery is not yet available to deliver to the address input. If it is not yet available at your desired delivery address you may still order McDelivery via: Uber Eats, Menulog and DoorDash.

Launch the McDonald's App and log in, if you are not already. Select 'Order' from the bottom menu bar and switch from 'Pickup' to 'McDelivery®'. Once you have entered a valid delivery address, begin selecting all food items you wish to have included in your order.
