I hate spending money on maternity clothes. Does anyone have any go-to items that are maternity friendly but that can be worn after baby is born too? Lulu leggings are a go-to for me. I also have a few longer form fitting tshirts that look okay with a belly.. What other suggestions do you have?

I buy items for maternity/PP so I have a lot of maternity linen and cotton for comfort and ease of movement. It’s not outright affordable but this definitely isn’t my last baby so it’s an ~investment~ lol. But I got a few notperfectlinen pants and shirts, then thrifted a bunch of dresses because last pregnancy was at the height of cold in Texas, so I had no dresses that worked and mostly leggings

I also don’t wish to buy maternity clothes and this is my second pregnancy. I wear leggings, stretchy waistband pants, and once the weather is nice I’ll wear skirts and dresses. I find most of my shirts are loose or stretchy enough that I can continue to wear them as well.

I’m plus size/ mid size and just happened to lose 35ish pounds this year so I am now wearing my normal clothes that are too big for me as maternity clothes lol. I got two pairs of maternity leggings and bike shorts and work around those as needed.

I’m with you! Hate spending money on maternity clothes and don’t find they fit well half the time. I love lulus, BUT lately have been finding some great loose drawstring pants.
If you like wide-leg, I recommend these from old navy: https://oldnavy.gapcanada.ca/browse/product.do?pid=586863033&vid=1&tid=ocpl000021&kwid=1&ap=7&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAAD_AT8sX1kNEc48_s7vMI7lxi69ca&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIqtvciPqijAMVX0X_AR1mkh5WEAQYASABEgJD4vD_BwE#pdp-page-content
And these from HM: https://www2.hm.com/en_ca/productpage.1267589001.html
I typically wear with a fitted longer top and/or button up.

Right now Kohls has an additional 50% off clearance items which includes maternity clothing. They have a decent sized section. I got three pairs of maternity pants and five tops for less than $40. That’s a good place to check right now if you are looking for a good deal!

FTM and also dislike the idea of buying a ton of maternity clothes. We’re coming out of winter where I am so I’ve been buying the drawstring pants and jeans that are thankfully popular right now and very stretchy maxi dresses one size up that I can wear postpartum and probably even after that - I’ve found good options at Aerie, H&M, and target (sale right now!) I did grab a few pairs of maternity leggings friends recommended from Amazon by the brand CRZ yoga and they are both affordable and amazing.
